Outside there is plenty to see and do,

with displays of traditional salmon fishing cobbles, each cobble is named after a local character or story which is told along side.

There is also a fully restored "Scaffie" a traditional form of Moray Firth fishing boat. This fully restored vessel remains one of the last remaining examples of these once common Yawls.

This 1½ Tonne Anchor was lifted from the sea-bed just off Alness Point. She is a pre 1914 Admiralty anchor and a poignant reminder of the Cromarty Firth and Invergordon's proud Naval past.
